Vigor3912S: DrayTek launches another powerful router

Monday, September 23, 2024

LEXIS (www.lexis.gr), exclusive distributor of the leading network product manufacturer DrayTek Corp., announces a new addition to the company's product portfolio. This time DrayTek launches the powerful Vigor3912S router that stands out for its scalability, ensuring the stability and fast speeds that modern businesses demand.

Designed for environments with high bandwidth requirements, Vigor3912S features a 2GHz Quad-Core CPU for fast connection speed, even with multiple connected devices. It has 8 configurable WAN/LAN ports, including 2 x 10G SFP+ for fiber connectivity and 2 x 2.5G Ethernet, as well as 4 x 1G Ethernet LAN, providing extremely fast NAT throughput.

What sets Vigor3912S apart from other business-grade routers on the market is its built-in 256GB M.2 SSD and the ability for users to run Linux applications via Docker, such as Suricata and VigorConnect, as well as anything running via Ubuntu. This feature allows users to easily install and run powerful software directly on the Vigor3912S, without the need for an additional computer for server installation.

In addition, Vigor3912S supports up to 500 VPNs, of which 200 are SSL. It can be used as a VPN server to create LAN-to-LAN or remote dial-in VPN connections. It has SMB-friendly features such as VPN 2FA authentication and VPN over LAN, ensuring a more secure and efficient VPN network.

Vigor3912S is manageable through VigorACS central management software that allows administrators to monitor and manage multiple Vigor routers. In addition, it can act as a controller for the central management of up to 50 DrayTek access points and 30 switches, at no additional cost.
