Vigor2962 is a high performance router with dynamic firewall and adjustable/configurable WAN / LAN ports. It has easy-to-use, alternative 2.5GbE, Fiber 1GbE and 1GbE port options, so users can set all ports as WAN (via firmware upgrade to V4.4.3.1) or load balance or failover achieving a performance of 2.2 Gbps NAT.
It has four configurable WAN / LAN ports, including one 2.5GbE port, one SFP / GbE port and two GbE ports. Two of the four ports can be used simultaneously as WAN ports.
The WAN ports can be configured either in Load Balancing mode, which is permanently active, or in Fail over mode, which is activated only in case the connection is lost or there is an increased load on the primary connection.
Also, Vigor2962 has a powerful VPN server, ideal for businesses (SMBs) that have branch offices or people working remotely. It is compatible with all common industry standard protocols and third-party VPN devices, while supporting up to 200 VPNs in IPSec or 50 in SSL encryption.
The network administrator has control over all connected DrayTek access points and switches, through the Vigor2962 router and the free central management feature.
