Vigor2915Fac is a wireless Dual-WAN Fiber Broadband Firewall VPN Router with primary WAN as Fiber slot and secondary WAN capability for load balancing and automatic failover using either 4th LAN port or USB port via compatible 4G/LTE USB dongle or via Wi-Fi. The USB port can also be used for storage (e.g. via USB stick), printer connection or DrayTek's USB thermometer.
It supports wireless 802.11ac (802.11n @ 2.4GHz and 802.11ac @ 5GHz), 8 SSIDs (4 per band), Air Time Fairness and Band Steering technologies, while providing security through WEP, WPA, WP2 and WPS protocols.
Vigor2915Fac supports VoIP QoS to automatically ensure the priority of VoIP calls and manage the consumption of the available bandwidth by each user by configuring the Session/Bandwidth Limit, preventing unwanted internet use (e.g. P2P programs) and ensuring that the each user will not exceed a certain upload/download speed limit. Through a powerful Object-based SPI firewall, it provides possibilities to define rules for blocking various types of services, URLs, IPs, files (file extensions), etc., protection against DoS attacks and spoofing, while an additional filtering service is available via URL keyword or category web.
Supports up to 16 simultaneous Teleworker-to-LAN/LAN-to-LAN VPN channels, of which 8 can be SSL VPN, with all known protocols (PPTP, L2TP, IPsec, L2TP over IPsec, SSL, GRE, IKEv2, IKEv2-EAP, IPsec-XAuth, OpenVPN) and high-level security, guaranteed by advanced MPPE/AES/DES/3DES encryption and corresponding level IKE certification. Corresponding to the aforementioned WAN failover, there is a VPN backup (VPN Trunk) feature which is automatically activated during line failover. In addition, it is possible to use the VPN trunk in load balancing mode so that having two VPN connections to the same remote network through different WAN interfaces, the VPN traffic can be shared between the two tunnels.
