VigorSwitch PQ2121x/Q2121x: DrayTek's VigorSwitch series is enriched with a new 2.5GbE L2+ managed switch!

LEXIS SA, exclusive representative of the leading manufacturer of network products DrayTekCorp., announces the launch of two new 2.5GbEL2+ managed switches. VigorSwitch PQ2121x and Q2121x are the company's new 8-port switches, designed to meet the networking needs of small and medium businesses.

VigorSwitch PQ2121x and VigorSwitch Q2121x include 8 Gigabit RJ45 ports of 10/100/1000/2500Mbps and 4 SFP+ slots with 1000Mbps/10Gbps data transmission rate. In addition, VigorSwitch PQ2121x features 8 ports are PoE+ with 140 watts total PoE power budget.

Both VigorSwitches have Layer 3 features such as Static Route, VLAN route and DHCP server. In addition, they support 256 VLANs and Link Aggregation up to 8 groups of 8 port members allowing both the creation of a group and its connection to other switches. They have security features to avoid network overload and IPconflicts (Preventions & Detection), as well as QoS with Voice VLAN and Surveillance VLAN for automatic detection of call and video traffic with optimal distribution.

In addition, VigorSwitch PQ2121x and Q2121x models support the ONVIF protocol with live video streaming from a camera and camera management through the Switch's Web Interface (GUI). Like all DrayTek switches and access points, they are manageable through the central router's web interface and VigorACS central management software, through which the network administrator can view, configure and make bulk changes to all connected DrayTek devices.
