LEXIS SA (www.lexis.gr), exclusive representative of the leading manufacturer of network products DrayTek, announces the availability of the ceiling-mount access point VigorAP 1062C. DrayTek's new model is an indoor high-performance dual-band Wi-Fi 6 access point with a performance of 1.2Gbps at 2.4GHz and 4.8Gbps at 5GHz. Thanks to the 2.5GbE port and MU-MIMO technology, it supports up to 256 simultaneously connected users, making it the ideal choice for high-speed and high-concentration environments.
It has four internal PiFA DB antennas, supports mesh topology and can act as AP, Mesh Root, Mesh Node and Range Extender. In addition, it supports up to 16 SSIDs (8 per band) and multi-SSIDs via mesh, while thanks to AirTime Fairness, Band Steering and Assisted Wi-Fi Roaming functions, it offers an improved Wi-Fi experience.
When connecting the VigorAP 1062C and through Intelligent Auto-Configuration, it detects the type of access point, wired or wireless, automatically determining the most suitable network topology. For small wireless environments with less than 8 access points, mesh mode is enabled, while for large wired installations with more than 8 access points, AP management mode is enabled for improved control and scalability.
The VigorAP 1062C can be mounted on a wall or ceiling, it is powered by DC and PoE+ (802.3af/at) and can be managed by Vigor routers and DrayTek's VigorACS, VigorConnect and Wireless app management software.
DrayTek's complete line of VigorAP access points is immediately available through the LEXIS partner network.
