The models of this series feature two 2.5G ports, one for WAN and one for LAN with the ability to configure as a 2nd WAN, three LAN ports, two USB ports and a factory reset button. They integrate DrayTek's new DrayOS 5 operating system with IAM (Identity and Access Management) support, allowing the application of policies for the management and control of user access to company resources. In addition, they support up to 4 VPN tunnels with the ability to create Site-to-Site VPN and Teleworker VPN, through the IPsec, IKEv1/IKEv2, IKEv2-EAP, IPsec-XAuth, OpenVPN and Wireguard protocols.
Vigor2136ax, the wireless model of the series, supports Wi-Fi 6 with up to 16 SSIDs (8 per band), excellent roaming, band steering, advanced wireless security and wireless user access management, while it has additional buttons for factory reset and WLAN/WPS.
The advanced features of the Vigor2136 series include Bandwidth management policies (QoS, VoIP prioritization, IP-based Bandwidth limit, etc.), failover and WAN Data Budget capabilities, support for 8 VLANs (802.1q Tag-based, Port-based), built-in DHCP server and Hotspot Web Portal with authentication via “click through” and external portal server. They also have advanced security features, traffic monitoring and can function as a virtual controller for the free management of up to 9 access points and 5 DrayTek switches, while they are manageable via DrayTek’s VigorACS platform.
