The VigorSwitch P2282x is a 28-port Layer 2+ Managed Gigabit PoE Switch, specially designed to offer a fully scalable, secure, and stable network to SMBs.
The hardware interface of the switch includes 24 x 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 and 4 x 1000Mb/10Gb SFP+ ports, with the 24 Gigabit ports being PoE+ with 400-Watt PoE power budget. Also, VigorSwitch P2282x has a 12/54V DC backup power supply to protect critical data from the connected PD devices and maintain uninterrupted network connectivity. The Stack ID Indicator and Stacking Button enable up to 4 VigorSwitch 2282x switches to operate as a single unit, enhancing network management, scalability, and resilience (stacking is available on Firmware v2.10.1 or later).
It has a switching capacity of 120 Gbps and supports Link Aggregation of up to 8 groups of 8 port members, traffic load balancing and QoS to avoid network overload. In addition, the VLAN creation feature supports Voice VLAN, Surveillance VLAN, Protocol/MAC-based/Management VLAN, and port isolation.
VigorSwitch P2282x supports the ONVIF protocol with live camera video streaming and camera management through the Switch's Web Interface (GUI). Like all DrayTek switches and access points, VigorSwitch G2282x is managed through the central router's web interface and VigorACS central management software, through which the network administrator can view, configure and make bulk changes to all connected DrayTek devices.
