VigorSwitch FX2120 is an ideal 12-port full fiber enterprise (SMB) switch with high performance capabilities for the increased data transmission requirements of ISPs and modern enterprises.
DrayTek VigorSwitch FX2120 features 12x Gigabit Ethernet 1000Mbps/10GMbps SFP+ LAN ports, RJ-45 console port and Factory Reset button. Supports consolidating up to 8x ports to increase available bandwidth as needed. The DrayTek VigorSwitch FX2120 provides several types of VLANs to segment your local network and keep traffic only where it needs to go. Additionally, it supports VLAN routing to directly route traffic between VLANs, share router loads, and improve overall network performance.
It supports link aggregation according to LACP (Link Aggregation Control Protocol) allowing both the creation of a group and its connection with other switches or servers for higher speeds and number of connections.
It is equipped with advanced Layer 3 features, including DHCP Server and VLAN Routing, as well as a host of VigorSwitch series features. In addition, it has a switching capacity of 240Gbps, while thanks to the OpenFlow 1.3 protocol it can work either as a classic Layer 2 bridge switch or to manage packets from a specific port on the open flow controller.
It supports up to 256 VLANs based on 802.1qtags, MAC addresses, as well as Link Aggregation up to 8 groups of 8 port members, allowing both the creation of a group and its connection to other switches or servers for higher speeds and a greater number of connections. It has security features to avoid network overload and IP conflicts (Preventions & Detection), as well as QoS with Voice VLAN and Surveillance VLAN for automatic detection of call and video traffic with optimal distribution.
VigorSwitch FX2120 model additionally supports the ONVIF protocol with live video streaming from a camera and its management through the Web Interface (GUI) of the Switch, while it is manageable through the web interface of the central router and the central management software VigorACS.
